Shine Light on Epilepsy

Help us SHINE LIGHT ON EPILEPSY to raise awareness and show solidarity with people affected by epilepsy and seizure disorders.

Purple Lights

Light a purple candle, install a purple lightbulb, or take a picture of something lit up in purple and post it on social media (#ShineLightOnEpilepsy).

Social Media Q&A

Throughout March, we’ll circulate a series of epilepsy facts and questions on social media (#ShineLightOnEpilepsy). Participate in the Q&A. Share the facts. Help us spread the word about epilepsy this Epilepsy Awareness Month.

2017 Immersive Project at Ottawa City Hall

March 26-31

City Councillor Mathieu Fleury will host our Shine Light on Epilepsy immersive project at Ottawa City Hall over the last week of Epilepsy Awareness Month. He’ll help us launch the project during our Purple Day Celebration.

Inspired by the Subway Therapy project in New York City, our Shine Light on Epilepsy project is an opportunity for anyone in our community to show support for people and families living with epilepsy. Stop by Ottawa City Hall the last week of March to add your voice.
