In 2008, Cassidy Megan – a little girl from Nova Scotia – had an idea. After her experiences with epilepsy, she wants to let others living with epilepsy know that they were not alone and the way to do this is to keep talking about. So with the help of her mother and her local Epilepsy organization, she started a Purple day campaign to be held on March 26.
Raising epilepsy awareness and supporting people with epilepsy shouldn’t begin and end on March 26.
If you live in Ontario, support people with epilepsy by texting Purple to 45678 to donate $5.
