Shine Light on Epilepsy

Immersive Project at Ottawa City Hall – March 26-31, 2017

City Councillor Mathieu Fleury hosted our Shine Light on Epilepsy immersive project at Ottawa City Hall over the last week of Epilepsy Awareness Month (March 26-31, 2017) and helped us launch the project during our Purple Day Celebration.

Inspired by the Subway Therapy project in New York City, our Shine Light on Epilepsy project was an opportunity for anyone in our community to show support for people and families living with epilepsy.

Purple Lights

Light a purple candle, install a purple lightbulb, or take a picture of something lit up in purple and post it on social media (#ShineLightOnEpilepsy).

Social Media Q&A

Throughout March, we circulate a series of epilepsy facts and questions on social media (#ShineLightOnEpilepsy). Participate in the Q&A. Share the facts. Help us spread the word about epilepsy during Epilepsy Awareness Month
