Create Your Own Fundraiser

Make a difference in the lives of people with epilepsy and seizure disorders by supporting epilepsy services in our community with a third party fundraiser.

What is a third party fundraiser?

A third party fundraiser is a fundraiser for a charity that is run by an independent individual or group. It can be anything from a bake sale or yard sale to a walk-a-thon or progressive dinner.

How do I get started?

Choose a fundraising idea. It could be from the list here or one of your own.

To start an online fundraising campaign visit epilepsyottawa.ca/jointhecampaign. All you have to do is set a goal, launch your page, and start collecting donations.

Read our Third Party Fundraising Guidelines and submit a completed application to info@epilepsyottawa.ca. If you’re not sure whether or not your third party fundraiser will require this application or you have questions about it, please contact us at 613-594-9255 or info@epilepsyottawa.ca.

Thank you to Tracy Whyte-Reid, her daughter Lauren, Sand Point Golf Course, and the rest of the team who put on the Seize the Look Fashion Show. They raised $3,000 to support people with epilepsy while also promoting local Arnprior businesses and featuring models living with seizures.

Paint for a Purpose

Algonquin College – Office Administration Executive Class of 2016 hosted a fundraising event in support of Epilepsy Ottawa on April 14, 2016. They raised over $2000 with a Paint Nite event. We’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the students for all their hard work and dedication and all the participants and donors for their generosity. Beautiful work!
