March 26th

Let’s Get Groovy!
Epilepsy Awareness Month is nearly upon us which means we’re getting ready for another groovy Purple Day Celebration that sheds a light on our incredible community members from the last year.
Join us for an afternoon of purple creativity at the Glebe Community Centre in Scotton Hall on Saturday, March 29th from 1:30-3:30pm

Bingo Night
Bingo is Back!
Join us on February 12th at 6:15pm in the Bronson Centre for Bingo Night! This event will be exclusively for Adults Living with Epilepsy. If you would like to bring a support person please send us an email (info@epilepsyottawa.ca).

The Great Gingerbread Showdown
Do you have what it takes to win The Great Gingerbread Showdown?
Test your creativity, showoff your architecture skills and get to know your teammates in this festive and fun holiday competition! Open to all people with epilepsy (young and grown) and their families!
Snacks and beverages will be provided to attendees. We recommend families plan to eat prior to the festivities!

Family Summer Social
POSTPONED DUE TO LOW ATTENDANCE
Let’s end summer with a splash!
On Friday, August 23rd we will be hosting a Family Summer Social for those who have kids and teens under the age of 18. Come and meet other parents while the kids can socialize over lawn games, the play structure or in the splash pad!
This will be a drop in style so feel free to stop by for a few minutes or the entire time from 3:30-6:00pm at Greenboro Park.
Please keep in mind that although this is an Epilepsy Ottawa planned event, parents are still responsible for the supervision of their children.
Light food and beverages will be available but we encourage families to bring their own food and make it a picnic!

Art In The Park
You asked and we answered!
Our first in-person Social Group of the summer is coming and we want you to be there!
Join us to art your heart out at our Art In The Park drop in from 4-6:30pm at Brewer Park on August 8th!
This is an event for adults with epilepsy and their friends and family.
There is a splash pad and playground on site for those wanting to bring their kids and enjoy a (hopefully) beautiful evening! Picnic tables are available for those who want to make it a picnic. Art supplies will be provided by Epilepsy Ottawa.

Epilepsy Ottawa runs a monthly evening Social Group to help bring Adults (18+) living with Epilepsy, together. Join us in-person on Wednesday, March 27 at 6pm for an evening games and connecting with others living with Epilepsy!
